Re-opening of AFMC Pune MBBS 2016 Application

Applications for MBBS seats in the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) Pune opened on 26 April 2016 and closed by end of May 2016. However, in view of the directives of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, CBSE proposed to conduct the second phase of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) on 24 July 2016.

Keeping the fresh candidates appearing for NEET-II, AFMC Pune is reopening its applications again as per the time line indicated below:

Start of Registration and application process: 18 July 2016
Last date of Registration: 29 July 2016 (2359h)
Last date for submission of online application: 01 Aug 2016 (2359h)
Last date for online generation & print of fee challan: 02 Aug 2016 (2359h)
Last date of acceptance of challan forms in SBI bank: 05 Aug 2016 (till working hours of SBI bank)

If you are interested in joining AFMC Pune, please ensure that you have appeared for either NEET-I or appear for the upcoming NEET-II. You should also register and apply online at the AFMC Pune website www.afmcdg1d.gov.in as per the schedule above.

Candidates who have applied previously

If you have already registered for AFMC Pune during April-May 2016 with AIPMT (NEET-I) Roll Number and appearing for NEET-II you need not register again. However, you have to update your NEET-II Roll Number in your online application. Modalities to update NEET roll Number will be intimated by AFMC Pune in due course of time. NEET-II 2016: Notifications from CBSE

With NEET-II 2016 examination just few days away, CBSE has issued two notifications. The first notification, dated 16 July 2016, warns the candidates of the rainy season in the country and advises them to take adequate precautions to ensure timely arrival at the examination hall.
