  1. yes defednittely, imagine the plight of repeaters who has a cutoff of 190. They didnt get mbbs last year b'cos the cutoff was 193.75 and this year and if no neet they will never get to study mbbs...more over the policticians for supporting schools in namakkal and rasipuram started this,as it is if the scorign is poor in tamilnadu the cutoff will also be less like 250 for a govt.college ...so y worry...NEET based selection is correct..

  2. neet is tough for all students alike. so the score for the govt colleges may be less but thro neet also poor/rural students will get good colleges...howmany rural/poor students will get mbbs if cut-off is there?at the max.20 students...exemption from neet is by politicians who want to support students of namakkal, rasipuram etc., neet coaching fees is less when compared to the fees of these schools...NEET SHOULD BE THE BASIS FOR MBBS ADMISSION IN TAMILNADU. may b for a few years like andhrapradesh v can have 100% to tamilnadu since v may not equal to the allindia score to gain a seat. by avoiding other state students v can have more seats....no politician and the activists thot about this...
